Hitting the Links

Did you know Lloydminster has over 20 golf courses within a 150-km radius? No matter which direction you’re headed, pack your clubs and enjoy a quick 9 or stay for 18. From sandy greens to newly redesigned clubhouses and fairways, our region is brimming with courses that will challenge your game and keep you in the swing of things. Within the city limits, you will find Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre, a family-friendly venue that offers lessons with an in-house golf pro, a driving range to help straighten out that slice, and 18 holes sure to test your game. Harvest to Home, a locally owned catering company, calls Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre home. Be sure to stop and satisfy your appetite with their daily specials and freshly baked goodies between rounds.

Mere minutes west of Lloydminster, you’ll find Rolling Green Fairways, a charming course offering stunning views so captivating you’ll forget you’re only a few miles away from the city. Amenities include a modern clubhouse to relax in after your game and over 70 serviced RV sites so you can catch a round of golf morning, noon, or night.

Want to pack up the clubs and head out on a quick day trip? A drive north to Sandy Beach Regional Park is the perfect day destination. With a freshly redesigned grass green course a quick 15-minute drive away, you’ll find yourself going back for round after round. If you’re looking for something a bit further afield, the picturesque 9 hole course at Loon Lake & District Golf and Country Club comes highly recommended by locals. Most small towns and regional or provincial parks offer a finely groomed golf course. We suggest exploring the neighbouring communities of Kitscoty, Marwayne, Lashburn, and Macklin, to name a few. With so many options available, the only question you’ll have is where to go first! Pack your clubs (and maybe beach umbrella) as you get ready for some fun in the sun enjoying a day on the links.
