Primary and Post-Secondary Education

If Lloydminster will be your backdrop for primary and post-secondary education, may we be the first to say: Congratulations! You’re going to love your experience here in the Border City. Primary education is offered through three school divisions: Lloydminster Catholic School Division (LCSD), Lloydminster Public School division (LPSD), and École Sans–Frontiéres, a francophone school. Take a look at their respective websites to confirm registration details, school schedules, programming, and more. For those who have graduated (literally!) to new heights, there are several post-secondary offerings in Lloydminster. If you’re seeking a fast track you may want to check out the programming offered by Reeves College. Most diplomas focus on technical skills (think: graphic design, law clerk, medical office receptionist, and more) in mind so you’ll receive your parchment and hit the workforce in no time.

If you’ve got your mind on a one-year certificate, diploma, or degree, Lakeland College may be for you. With two campuses (Lloydminster and Vermilion), numerous schools (School of Agriculture and School of Business to name a few), and on-campus residences, you could spend your college days thriving in the Border City. Short-term programming and courses are regularly offered by the Lloydminster Learning Council, Lakeland College, and Lloydminster Cultural & Science Centre. Review the listings section for details, then head off on your educational journey; you’ll be glad you did.
